Hello peeps! How’s the new week playing out for you? It’s been stressful on my end.. Work, Work.. Oh well… I’m gonna talk a bit about Color Blocking. The wild trend of 2012 that has rocked many runways and even inspired the spring collections of many top notch designers. It’s gone so viral but yet still very controversial. It’s either people are hitting the “yes” mark or the “No” mark.
Color blocking is supposed to be tricky as a little bit can over do it. It has to be just right. It is comprised of mixing two or more solid colors together, giving off a bright, fun vibe. Knowing how to Color block correctly is key to pulling off a dazzling look. Some people indulge in Color blocking and end up looking like a Rubik’s cube.. SMH!! Anyways, in 3 easy DIY steps, I’ll show you how to pull off a decent Color block…
(1.) KNOW YOUR COLOUR PALLET–the right set of colors can make you

pop

    (2) START SLOW — start with two colors: a neutral Color and a bold Color. Don’t wear colors ‘coz “they match well”: that’s WRONG!!! The colors have to contrast strongly. E.g- white and pepper red, orange pants with purple jacket. You can always add a third BOLD Color when you are sure of the first two.
    (3) ACCESSORIZE!! – you MUST always accessorize when Color blocking. Either a contrasting belt, bag or shoe would do the trick. NEVER wear same colors e.g Red belt on red shirt..it’s WRONG!!

      Remember

: Prints and patterned wears are NOT Color block. More than 5 colors is too much.. For starters; mix 3 colors or LESS.
Color block applies to both males and females.. So whether you’re a boy or girl that has been dying to get it right, follow these steps and thank me later..
    Stay Fashionable!!!
